According to several reports, Colts WR Marvin Harrison (knee) will be inactive for Week 8 at Carolina. The Colts announced Saturday that Harrison will be sidelined for the second time in three games.
Harrison, who did not practice all week, originally bruised his left knee against the Broncos in Week 4 and sat out Week 5 against the Bucs since Indianapolis was on a bye in Week 6. Rookie WR Anthony Gonzalez is once again to start for Harrison. Gonzalez caught a career-high seven passes for 71 yards against the Bucs in Week 5, his first start in place of Harrison. He did not record a catch against the Jaguars in Week 7.
The Panthers own the 21st best pass defense and it could turn into a good week for the rookie. Consider him a viable stopgap Fantasy option for Week 8.
