QUARTERBACKS
START ‘EM
Donovan McNabb (at NYJ): McNabb was awful in his last game at the Meadowlands against the Giants in Week 4. He was sacked 12 times, only passed for 138 yards and had no touchdowns. Thank goodness for the bye week. The Eagles offensive line is still banged up (offensive tackle William Thomas and left guard Todd Herremans are hurt), but that shouldn’t matter against the Jets, who only have three sacks. The Jets also are No. 25 against the pass with nine touchdowns allowed. The Eagles are 8-0 following their bye under coach Andy Reid, so they seem to do something right with the time off. Expect McNabb to come out throwing and get the offense going this week. He should be in line for a big game, and he also will benefit from Brian Westbrook (abdomen) getting back on the field.
Brett Favre (vs. WAS): If you can deal with an interception or two, than Favre is your man this week. The Redskins pass defense is tough at No. 8 with four interceptions and 12 sacks and only two touchdowns allowed. But Favre is going to put the ball in the air because that’s what the Packers do. He has attempted over 40 passes in four of five games this season and is looking for his fourth-straight game over 300 yards.
Matt Hasselbeck (vs. NO): Don’t worry about Deion Branch (foot) being out because the Saints will provide little defense in this game. Hasselbeck will lean on Bobby Engram, Nate Burleson and tight end Marcus Pollard against New Orleans, which is No. 19 against the pass with eight touchdowns allowed and only two interceptions and one sack.
Eli Manning (at ATL): Last year at Atlanta, Manning had 180 yards passing, two touchdowns and two interceptions. A similar game could be in the making, but I like Manning’s chances against the No. 11 Falcons defense, especially with the way Plaxico Burress is playing. The Manning-Burress combo is one of the best in the NFL right now.Derek Anderson (vs. MIA): The Dolphins are No. 3 in pass defense, but that’s a little misleading because teams have been able to run all over Miami. Look for Anderson to make some plays in the air, and he has great skill players in Braylon Edwards and Kellen Winslow. Since being named the starter in Week 2, Anderson only has one game where he’s thrown for less than two touchdowns.
Brian Griese (vs. MIN): Chicago will need Griese to throw this week because the Vikings defense is No. 1 against the run. Good thing for Griese that Minnesota is No. 30 against the pass. Hopefully the Bears will continue to involve rookie TE Greg Olsen and give Griese another reliable target.
Kurt Warner (vs. CAR). This should be the beginning of a good stretch for Warner. He gets the starting nod with Matt Leinart (broken collarbone) out for the season. In a shared role with Leinart the past three weeks, Warner had 580 yards passing, four touchdowns and one interception. He also ran for a touchdown in Week 5 against St. Louis. Carolina is No. 24 against the pass with only two interceptions and two sacks. Warner should have plenty of time to pick apart this defense and put up good stats for your Fantasy team.

Chad Pennington (vs. PHI): Could this be the week Pennington gets benched for Kellen Clemens? It could happen, especially if he struggles again. The Eagles are No. 21 against the pass but have been dealing with injuries. In Pennington’s past two games he has two touchdowns and five interceptions.
